Purpose

Use this routine to search Legal Matters, such as: Name / No. of Lawsuits, through options Main or Breakdown by Class, Resource or Incident, Date, Group, Client and Store.

Based on the lawsuits returned by the search, you can edit or delete information. You can also add and correct lawsuit values and issue reports.

On the main page of the routine, find the following options:

 

Use this resource to view the commitments of the entire team onscreen. You may even use a filter.

The commitments are displayed with background colors differentiated by result:

  • Completed -> Yellow
  • Canceled -> Blue
  • Pending -> Orange

Teams are registered respectively with leaders and led.

For better viewing, add follow-ups for the team participants.

If you do not select a team, the calendar only displays the Follow-ups of the participant linked to the current user.

View the option Configure onscreen, then view the Configuration Wizard.

The screen is self-explanatory and shows the possible divisions, as follows:

  • Grid.
  • Fields.
  • Calendar.
  • Chart.
  • Web Browser.

Enter the quantity of sections and, to continue, click Next. Start filling out the sections, indicating the vertical proportion and column data.

Fill out the fields, keeping in mind that option Web Browser is only available when you configure option Web Browser.

Options Field of Vision and Type are available when option is Chart and, to continue configuring, click Next.

Then, view the configuration screen displayed in columns. Continue configuring and, to finish it, click Finalize.

At this point, the system displays a configuration successful screen and displays the configuration onscreen.

Choose the subject Search type in the options box, at the top of the screen.

The only Legal Matter that has no parties involved is the Advisory one.

Fill out the filter field(s) to search the lawsuit and click option Search in the menu to the left of the screen.

In the grid, at the bottom, view the lawsuits that match the filter applied. Click on a lawsuit to select it.

Click Create and/or Edit to access the lawsuit.

After you fill out the required fields and the other fields, you can view the grid. The completion process takes place in accordance with the option of parameter MV_JENVENT.

Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

When the content of parameter MV_JENVENT is set to 1 (enabled), place the mouse cursor on field Or Entity and press the F3 key to access the Entities Selection screen, in order to select the Entity type from the following options:

  • Clients.
  • Contacts.
  • Suppliers.
  • Employees.
  • Opposing Parties.

Select the Entity and click button ? to access the default query screen of the type selected.

After selecting the Entity, press OK to return to grid Parties Involved.

Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

When the content of parameter MV_JENVENT is set to 2 (disabled):

  1. Fill out field Client? with Yes, if the party involved is a client.
  2. Fill out field Main? with Yes, if the party involved is the main actor of the lawsuit.
  3. Fill out field Supplier? with Yes, if the party involved is a supplier.
  4. Fill out the other fields in accordance with the information available.

Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

  1. Choose the subject Search type in the options box, at the top of the screen.
  2. The only Legal Matter that has no parties involved is the Advisory one.
  3. Fill out the filter field(s) to search the lawsuit and click option Search in the menu to the left of the screen.
  4. In the grid, at the bottom, view the lawsuits that match the filter applied. Click on a lawsuit to select it.
  5. Click Create and/or Edit to access the lawsuit.

Use this to view the information registered.

  1. After selecting the information you wish to view, click Ok.
  2. Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

Configure the routines:

  • Index.
  • Index Values.
  • Correction Methods.
  • Values Updatable.

Configure the types of:

  • Legal Matters.
  • Search.
  • Fields.

In the fields of the routine, register the following:

  • Date of Case.
  • Currency of Case (code and description).
  • Value of Case.
  • Updated Value of Case.
  • Correction Method (code and description).
  • Date of Last Update.

Click Search for a Lawsuit:

Configure parameter MV_JPROCFW to enable the addition of follow-up after registering a Lawsuit.
With this configuration, the system displays the question Do you wish to register a follow-up for this lawsuit? and, when you confirm it, the system takes you to routine:

  • Follow-up.

Configure also parameter MV_JPESPEC to enable field General Search to filter lawsuit search information.

When parameter MV_JNUMCNJ is enabled and the class indicates the use of the CNJ, upon entering the lawsuit number in the court level, if the register From/To identifies the mask, the system automatically fills out fields Judiciary District and the locations of the 2nd level and the 3rd level.

View the distribution of the fields onscreen, divided in tabs, in accordance with the selection of the item found in Search Configurations:

Fill out field Configurations and create a filter.

Click Search.

The system returns the record(s) found.

The completion of field Sales Group in routine Clients validates manual addition for fields Client Code and Client Store.

Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

  1. You can add the number of the Branch of Origin to create reports, when the profiles Corporate or Trademarks and Patents do not originate the Legal Matter.
  2. Choose the lawsuit, right-click it, view the options and select Enter Lawsuit in Printing Queue.
  3. In the open grid to the right, right-click to select option Print Lawsuit from Printing Queue.
  4. View message Did You Already Run the Values Correction Routine? Confirm in Yes.
  5. Check for the existence of combos on the Report Parameters screen.
  6. In field Report Config. select an option from those offered by the system, fill out the data and confirm it.
  1. Select a Legal Matter Code and click Edit.
  2. Access tab Values and fill out fields Case (date, currency and value) and Lawsuit Correction Method.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. The system saves the changes.
  5. Fill out the data in accordance with the instructions found in Main Fields.

  8. Click Close and the system returns to the search screen.
  1. Select a Legal Matter Code and click Edit.
  2. Access tab Values and fill out the fields of the Case (date, currency and value) and Lawsuit Correction Method.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. The system saves the changes.
  5. Click Close and the system returns to the search screen.
  1. Select the Legal Matter and click Batch Editing.
  2. View the screen requesting the completion of the fields you wish to edit.
  3. Fill them out, confirm and click Ok.
  4. After viewing the system-processing screen, the system displays the confirmation screen with the quantity of records edited.
  5. To exit, click Close.

 

If any inconsistency occurs, the system issues a message requesting your confirmation to continue editing manually. If you select Yes, the system opens a screen for you to continue editing.

Access through Other Actions / Multiple Responsible Parties.

When you cancel the Multiple Responsible Parties maintenance form, all variables are restored to their original state.

  1. Use a process with multiple responsible parties registered.
  2. When you click Edit with the lawsuit open, access Related Features / Multiple Responsible Parties.
  3. Once you edit one of the records of this register and confirm view message: Multiple Responsible Parties Have Been Edited, you need to fill out the history information. Confirm Operation? and the options are Yes and No.
  4. In No, cancel the edit in the history register. View the following message onscreen: Operation Canceled and edit not confirmed.
  5. Click Ok in this message screen to cancel the editing of the data in this register, keeping them in their original form.
  6. In Yes, fill out field Edit Reason with an explanation / justification.
  7. Once you edit the register, view the register screen of the history.
  8. If you choose Close to exit, you cancel the history register and the system displays a message: Operation Canceled and editing not confirmed.
  9. Click Ok in the message screen to cancel the editing of the data in the Multiple Responsible Parties register, keeping them in their original form.
  10. Click Confirm in the history register to save the data edited in the Multiple Responsible Parties register as well.

Access Other Actions / Incidents and select one of the following:

  • Open incidents list or
  • Open Lawsuit of Origin

Select the incident and click one of the following options available at the footer of this page: View, Edit, Link, Add, Delete and/or Unlink and Exit.

Select the Contract Code and click one of the following options available at the footer of this page: View, Edit, Link, Add, Delete and/or Unlink and Exit.

Access Other Actions / Linked to view the lawsuit links selection screen.

  1. Select the Legal Matter code and click one of the options available at the footer of this screen: View, Edit, Link, Add, Delete and/or Unlink and Exit.
  2. When you choose option Link, view the screen at the top with fields for completion.
  3. Those next to a magnifying glass will let you query data already registered.
  4. When you complete the record, click Link.

Access Other Actions / Objects to open the Objects register screen.

In this option you can add, edit and also delete Objects.

Access Other Actions / Guarantees to view the Guarantees register.

In this option, you can add, edit and delete Guarantees.

  1. Conceptually, not all guarantees involve financial values; however, when you give an asset as a guarantee, you need to configure the integration with the Financials (SIGAFIN) module, as follows:
  2. Set parameter MV_JINTVAL to 1=Yes to enable the integration and make field Financial Integration available onscreen.
  3. If the content of the parameter is 2=No, you cannot view the field.
  4. Then, set parameter MV_JALCADA to 2 to not use the competences control of the Purchases (SIGACOM) module.
  5. Fill out the fields of the routine and in field Financial Integration enter Yes.

When accessing Other Actions / Invoicing, select from the following options:

  • Contract. The system displays the Invoicing Contracts screen. Use this option to add, edit and delete Invoicing Contracts.
  • Tabled Entries. The system displays the Table Entries screen. Use this option to either view or search.
  • Entries Tabled in Batches. The system displays the Entries Tabled in Batches screen. Use this option to either view or search.

Access Other Actions / Relationships to view the lawsuit relationships screen.

Use this option to add, edit and delete relationships.

Select code Destination and click one of the following options, available in the footer of this page: View, Edit, Link, Delete and/or Unlink and Exit.

Choose option Link to view a screen with fields you can fill out at the top. Those next to a magnifying glass let you query data already registered. When you complete the record, click Link.

Find this option in Other Actions / Save Model, when the option is add.

Access Other Actions / Expenses to view the Expense/Fee screen.

Use this option to add, edit and delete Expenses.

Find field Payment Terms and select one of the options available, then confirm it.

 

Use option Search with the alternatives:

Attachment / Progress / Follow-up.

 

Add as Model - Fill out the fields and, to confirm the addition of the model, access Other Actions / Save Model, then give it a name and click Ok to confirm it.

The model substitution process is the same. The system asks whether you wish to overwrite the file when using the same type and name.

Delete Model - Select one from the models already created and click Ok to confirm it.

  1. Select again the edited record and click Indexation.
  2. The system issues a message for you to confirm the value updates.
  3. Select Yes to confirm them.
  4. The system updates them and issues a message.
  5. Click Edit, access tab Values and check whether field Value of Case is up to date.
  6. Click No to cancel the operation.

The data presented refers to the History of Legal Matter Values.

Use this option to view the changes to closed lawsuits.

Access Other Actions / History to view and select from the following:

  • Correspondent – to display changes to the correspondents register.
  • Lawsuit – to display changes to a closed lawsuit or not, because you could reopen it.

Set parameter MV_JTVENPH to block operations when the lawsuit is closed.

Parameter MV_JFLXCOR, when set to 1, prevents the adding of Correspondents.

When you register the Work Papers and configure the User Profile, you can define the access to registers, fields and features for interns and lawyers.

To print a report or to export Excel data, right-click the search grid and choose an option from the following:

  • Add lawsuit to printing queue.
  • Add all lawsuits to printing queue or
  • Add Concessions to printing queue.

View the new Printing Queue grid to the right of the search.

Right-click it again to access the following options:

  • Delete all printing queue lawsuits.
  • Report Printing and Customized Export (Excel).
  • Print lawsuits from printing queue or yet
  • Print Concessions from printing queue.

When you add records to the printing queue, the System checks whether they belong to different legal matters and, if so, it notifies that no such operation is possible. Otherwise, they enter the queue.

Select Print Concessions from Printing Queue to view the report selection screen and wait for printing.

When you issue the lawsuit report, field Report Configuration displays only the configurations pertaining that legal matter type.

Configure this in the Report Configuration Auxiliary Register.

In the browser, click Printing Queue. The System opens a session for report configuration.

Select option Print Lawsuits from Printing Queue.

In field Report Configuration, choose the type of document you wish to print. Use the indication arrow to the right to view the options. If needed, fill out the remaining fields. Click OK.

The system displays a screen for you to select the directory in which to save the file created.

Select location to save file.

The document created follows a nomenclature specific of the System.

The System prints the report in text format (Word®).

When you select the configuration of .DOT files, the system enables option Print Document so you can send to the printer. The System disables all other options on this screen for this report type.

When you select the configuration of .PRW files, the opposite occurs; that is, the System disables only field Print Document for editing, enabling the other fields.

Select the Legal Matter and click Export Results.

View the screen to set configurations.

Once configured, click Print.

When you select option Worksheet, view the Worksheet Creation screen.

Select one of the viewing options and click Confirm to finish.

Access Customized Export - JURA108 - Legal Management - P12 to query this option.

Only the configurations for that legal matter type.

This configuration is done in the Report Configuration Auxiliary Register.

Currency of CaseEnter the code of the currency and also its description.

In options Add or Edit, when more than one record exists with this field set to YES, and the content of parameter MV_JENCACR is set to 1-Automatic, field Status is saved with content 2-Closed and the System issues the permission message for only one agreement.

Caso

O preenchimento do parâmetro MV_JCASO1 informado com 1 (numeração única habilitada) habilita este campo ainda que os campos Cliente e Loja não estejam preenchidos.

Nesta situação ao informar este campo, o sistema preenche automaticamente os campos Grupo, Cliente e Loja quando este não esteja preenchidos com os valores relacionados ao caso escolhido. Tanto se forem digitados como se utilizada a consulta padrão (F3).

Quando o parâmetro MV_JCASO1 está informado com 2 (numeração por cliente habilitada) este campo permanece desabilitado até que os campos Cliente e Loja sejam informados.

Nesta situação ao preencher os campos Cliente e Loja este campo fica desabilitado.
